Belt Testing

Belt testing will be held every two months for rank advancement. Colored belts may test every two months (at every testing). Black belts have specific time and age requirements that must be fulfilled before they will be allowed to test for their next belt. Testing dates and times will be posted on the homepage and on the Events Calendar. Please make sure that you arrive on time and on the correct day for your belt testing.

Students testing for ranks below Black Belt may perform a make up testing before the scheduled testing date. Don't forget, students testing for any rank below black belt may perform a make up testing on or before Thursday during their class time.

Senior Red belts testing for Black Belt for the first time are required to attend Black Belt Prep Class on the Saturday before testing.

All Students should come to their testing in a clean full white uniform.

Awards Ceremony

Award ceremonies always occur on the Tuesday after testing at 6 p.m.

Students will receive their belts on the Tuesday following testing at 6:00 pm at the Fishers Martial Arts school. Students should dress in full uniform as they did for testing. Please do not call the school prior to the ceremony to check on your status. Students that did not pass will receive a phone call before the ceremony day.
